Vande Velde bushwhacks, gives back

Garmin-Slipstream's Christian Vande Velde not only allowed himself to be filmed riding single track by the Chicago Area Mountain Bikers (CAMBr), to the horror of road warriors everywhere. He's also helping the CAMBr South chapter build and maintain more of it by partying with the kings and queens of dirt at the Tin Fish in Tinley Park, January 2.

And just in case you think you're going to show up and start something, he's bringing a posse: Team Radio Shack's Jason McCartney and good friend (and 6-time Leadville winner) David Weins. So you just pay your money ($25), and keep your mouth busy tipping back that Goose Island beer.

And don't wear the cycling cap. I mean, dude.

Hope to see you there with some dirt in your chain!
