Did You Know?

A bicycle commuter who rides four miles to work, five days a week, avoids 2,000 miles of driving and about 2,000 pounds of CO2 emissions each year.

Southland bike commuter showdown: Oak Lawn vs. Tinley Park and Orland Park

Holy cage match!

Last night, the Village of Oak Lawn posted a bold and bare-fisted challenge to the villages of Tinley Park and Orland Park:

Bring it to the Commuter Challenge June 11–June 19 if either of you think you have healthier, more active employees.

Or drive your desk jockey selves back home.

Oak Lawn is feeling it, and will happily share a Commuter Challenge beat down to whomever wants to step up. And step down, And step up again. Because that's the kind of healthy activity it will take to beat Oak Lawn. The Village of Oak Lawn is bringing the bike commuting thunder, and it's about to reign…as the Active Transportation Champion Southland Champion.

Unless the OP and TP want to say something about that.
