Protect funding for active transportation
As you probably know, there are efforts are underway by the new leadership in the U.S. Congress to pare down federal spending. We are expecting that some programs dear to active transportation supporters may be threatened. Fortunately, you can help protect funding for these programs.
Contact your representative in congress today and urge them to refrain from cutting funding for Transportation Enhancements grants, Safe Routes to School programs, Congestion Mititgation and Air Quality Improvement initiatives, and the 402 Safety program.
