Possible Yellow Line stop in southwest Evanston

The CTA's Yellow Line currently has two stops: Howard Street in northern Chicago and Dempster Street in Skokie, and construction in now underway for a second Skokie stop at Oakton Street.

Traveling between Howard and Dempster, Yellow Line trains run through the southernmost portion of Evanston. Residents and lawmakers are now discussing the possibility of a new CTA station in Evanston at Ridge, Asbury or Dodge Avenue in Evanston.
