Forest Park adopts active transportation plan

On Monday evening, the Village of Forest Park adopted an active transportation plan. The plan was funded by the federal Model Communities program. Active Trans was the lead consultant on the project.

The plan speaks to the village’s recently adopted complete streets policy and will help guide infrastructure improvements that create a safer and more connected network for non-motorized users of the road.
