Did You Know?

The Chicago region’s current hub-and-spoke transit system leaves nearly half a million Cook County residents stranded in transit deserts.

Families in the 35th Ward get ready to ride!

You're invited to join a family-friendly bike tour of the 35th Ward to learn about the ward's Student Active Transportation Plan. (The 35th Ward includes a large section of Logan Square; if you're not sure of your ward, see below.)  /

Over the past year, residents have been working with Active Transportation Alliance and Sam Schwartz Engineering, providing input on strategies to make it safer and easier to walk and bike to schools and parks in the 35th Ward.

All this great input has been transformed into a plan for improving conditions for everyone who walks and bikes in the ward.

You'll learn about these plans on the bike ride, and you'll learn how you can get involved in turning the ideas into reality.
