Scored for the silent auction at Bike Town Bash (http://activetrans.org/bash): 7-time Emmy winner Chris Balish signed a copy of his book, How to Live Well Without Owning a Car for Active Trans to auction off  at the Bash. Balish was the keynote speaker at the National Trails Symposium, and in his signature he encourages Chicagoland to keep living the car-free life.

He'd also rather you checked the book out from the library if you don't win it at the Bash. After all, this is the guy who took the bus to cover the Transformers 2 premier. A simple Hollywood guy, living well.
