All Chicago mayoral candidates support bike and pedestrian plans, more transit funding

With the Chicago mayoral election only a month away, voters are now getting better acquainted with the candidates.

Active Trans was pleased with many of the candidates’ responses to the recently released Green Growth questionnaire. The questions were created by a coalition of 17 environmental, conservation and civic organizations, including the Active Transportation Alliance.

Questions 12-16 address transportation. While some of the answers lack specificity, it’s encouraging to see across-the-board support for initiatives that will improve walking, biking and transit in Chicago!
