Active Trans’ Bike Pit Stops popping up around town!
Winter is over and the sun is shining. As you dust off your bike (or dust off the winter grime), be sure to keep an eye out for an Active Trans’ Bike Pit Stop during your commute.
We will have Bike Pit Stops at various locations on a weekly basis this spring.
We hope to spread the bike love and build momentum for all the protected bike lanes projects coming to Chicago. We will be offering free safety checks, passing out information about urban cycling and collecting signatures for the Neighborhood Bikeways Campaign.
We will announce pit stop times and locations on our facebook and twitter pages closer to each event. Follow the conversation on twitter with #BikePitStop. We are also looking for volunteers to help out.
