One recent post discusses the need to revamp the Logan Square L station, suggesting pedestrian improvements and a possible bike parking area.

A group of biking and walking-minded Lincoln Park neighbors recently created Bike Walk Lincoln Park, a blog focused on discussing bike and ped issues and creating positive change in the neighborhood.

Two July posts addressed the need for Clark Street to be transformed into a more pedestrian-friendly, liveable thoroughfare, with one post making a comparison between crossing Clark and playing a real-life game of Frogger.

Looking for an active transportation blog based in the suburbs? Mary Wisniewski and Laura Fergus, inhabitants of Crystal Lake, co-author Just off the Tracks, a travel and leisure activity guide featuring fun destinations along the Metra rail lines.

Currently, the guide features only the Metra Union-Pacific/Northwest Line, but they plan on expanding to other lines in the near future.
