Bike race on Oct. 1 offers something for everyone

Whether you participated last year or this is your first time hearing about it, Active Trans invites you to the charming northwest suburb of Bartlett for the Kickstand Classic, a bike race for all on Sunday, Oct. 1!

This chip-timed event, which takes place on a closed road course, is open to ALL kinds of riders, skill levels and ages on ANY kind of bike. This year, kids of all ages will be able to ride in this event. 

With three different waves (Sunday Funday, Middle of the Road or Speed Demon) and three different distances (10, 14.5 or 19 miles), this race can be customized to suit your abilities and interests. 

Through your registration, you will receive a chip-timing piece to wear during the race, a commemorative race t-shirt (see below), a complimentary Revolution Brewing beer (for those 21 and over) and a finisher’s medal.

Have a group of family or friends who want to participate? Sign up as a team and vie to win a team award within your category. Awards will be given to the top 5 teams in the Open Division and the Women-Only Division.
