MB Financial Bank Bike the Drive volunteers decide to lend a hand for a variety of reasons. Some people do it because they are passionate about the work of the Active Transportation Alliance. Others do it because they enjoy the opportunity to meet interesting people.

Each year, Pamela Cooley helps out Active Trans by organizing a group of volunteers for Bike the Drive. "Volunteering for Bike the Drive is a wonderful opportunity to assist those who are committed to increasing the quality of life via biking," she said. "It’s so much fun for us to meet people whose paths we wouldn’t cross in our daily commutes. The cyclists are always so appreciative of the volunteers.”

Besides helping out the day of the event, we especially need your help at pre-event Packet Pick Up locations. Volunteers receive one complimentary registration for Bike the Drive for completing a volunteer shift at a Packet Pick Up location.
