Are you looking for ways to get more involved in improving biking, walking and transit in your neighborhood? There are lots of simple actions you can take as a citizen advocate to make a difference. At the Active Trans Member Meeting last week, we launched Chicago Advocacy Bingo — a new game that challenges you to help advocate for safer streets and better transportation options in Chicago.

Are you up for the challenge? Visit http://www.activetrans.org/bingo to learn about advocacy assignments you can take on to win not only a better neighborhood, but also some fun prizes! Complete five assignments in a row between Oct. 2012 and Oct. 2013, then fill out the online bingo card to tell us about your efforts and enter raffles for prizes.

Remember that you can make a difference in your neighborhood even taking simple actions on your own. But as more people get involved, our collective action makes us much stronger — so ask your friends to play Chicago Advocacy Bingo too!
