Ridership survey first step for new Metra leader

No doubt, the first couple of days on the job have been tough for Alexander Clifford, Metra's newly hired executive director and CEO. Nothing like leaving L.A. and arriving in Chicago for one of the city’s biggest snowfalls on record.

Clifford previously worked for the Los Angeles County Transportation Authority, where he was head of the high-speed rail division.
