Public Brainstorming Workshop on Village of Palatine Bicycle Plan

The Village of Palatine and the Greater Palatine Bicycle Task Force are working together on a bicycle transportation plan. They are kicking off the plan with a public brainstorming workshop. Your input on suggested bike routes and other improvements will help focus the planning effort and prioritize where the investments should be made throughout the community.

The workshop’s 90-minute agenda will include:

Introduction of the bicycle planning effort.
Description of some types of improvements that may be considered.
Attendees mark up individual maps with their ideas.
Small groups (based on the Village’s geographic areas) prioritize and report suggestions.
Next steps – plus how you can stay involved and updated.

When: Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
