Photo contest's grand prize is a ten-day bike trip in Tuscany
The Alliance for Biking & Walking presents its 2011 People Powered Movement Photo Contest.
Whether you're a professional photographer or an amateur, the alliance welcomes all photos that feature biking, walking and advocacy in action. These photos will be added to the ever-expanding online library of images that can be used by bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organizations across the contintent.
From August 1 through September 30, snap away and submit up to 20 entries via the contest website. Public voting in October determines the finalists, and a panel of expert and advocate judges from across the continent will determine the winners, to be announced in March 2012.
The overall grand prize is an all-inclusive bike trip to Tuscany, Italy. Other great prizes include a new bike, helmets, bags and gear.
