Lakefront Trail Conditions 1/10/11

I rode the Lakefront Trail from Ardmore to Grand this Monday morning (1/10). The only new area of concern is the Oak Street Bend. The Trail is now covered in ice (closer to the water) and sand (closer to the wall) for most of the Bend. I was able to ride safely over the sand (on the north end) and there was a small ~3 foot wide section of pavement next to the wall at the south end that was clear enough for me to ride over safely. If you choose to ride this section of the Trail please use caution.
