Klein, who is coming off a two-year stint as D.C.’s transportation director, is committed to making Chicago more bike- and ped-friendly.

He also discusses the need to slow down car traffic on high-traffic streets like Michigan Avenue, as well as lessening the number of cars in Chicago by reducing zoning requirements for parking at new construction sites.
