Did You Know?

Thanks to our generous donors, Active Trans is able to carry out our important work throughout the Chicago region.

Friends of the Lakefront Trail Visioning Workshops, April 9 and 18

Do you walk, run, bike or rollerblade on Chicago’s Lakefront Trail? How would you make the trail better, safer and easier to access?

The Active Transportation Alliance is partnering with Friends of the Parks and Chicago Area Runners Association to host two Friends of the Lakefront Trail Visioning Workshops. Friends of the Lakefront Trail is a new initiative of Active Trans, representing the interests of Lakefront Trail users and working to improve the recreation and transportation conditions on the trail.

Come tell us about your experiences using the Lakefront Trail and share your ideas for its future. Your input will help shape our advocacy goals to improve the trail!
