2 pedestrians killed

Two elderly pedestrians were killed today on Chicago's Northwest side

The driver, whom police identified as Sergio Candelara, 27, had a green light when the incident occured. Candelara, of the 3100 block of West Montrose Avenue, was cited for not having a drivers license and for striking a pedestrian in the roadway, said Chicago Police Officer Amina Greer.
