Lakefront Trail Activities September 30-October 2

Permitted activities that may affect your use of the Lakefront Trail September 30-October 2, 2011

Friday, September 30

Although there are no permitted activities on the Trail today there is a lot of water washing over the Trail south of Fullerton and between North Ave. and Ohio St. As of noon on Friday (9/30) the police have closed the Trail. A fireman told me that a person was washed into the lake earlier today but that they were able to pull themselves out. Please be extremely careful in these areas even if they are re-opened as we are supposed to have high winds off of the lake through Saturday.
