Woodstock students featured for their transportation work

After months of hard work, students from Woodstock High School and McHenry West High School are presenting their final projects to the McHenry County Transportation Committee.

Students from both schools have been serving as part of the larger McHenry County high school transportation program, which focuses on teaching students about various transportation planning issues.

These students, and many like them, continue to prove that young people can be a significant driving force in creating environments more accommodating for active transportation users. Read an article that recently ran in the Woodstock Independent about the program.
