Update on Stearns Rd. Bridge Corridor Celebration
Here is an important update for those planning to join Active Trans at the Grand Opening Ceremonies for the Stearns Road Bridge Corridor on Wednesday, December 15. Bicyclists are invited to be part of a procession to the ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Fox River multi-use path bridge. Please plan to arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m.
There will be plenty of room to park on McLean Boulevard just north of the new Stearns Road intersection. Sirens will be sounded when it is time for bicyclists to get into position. McCafe Van will provide drinks at the location, so brave the cold and help celebrate.
