Can you say 'stimulus'? Adding to all the other benefits of biking, walking and transit that we already know about (better health, safer streets, cleaner environment, world peace………?), a new study conducted in Baltimore, MD shows that construction of pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure creates nearly twice as many jobs per dollar spent than traditional road construction.
