Pace's bus-on-shoulder pilot program expands

Great news for commuters interested in Pace's I-55 bus-on-shoulder pilot program. Pace routes 755 and 855 are expanding service beginning April 9 to meet increased demand.

  • Route 755 that runs between the Southwest Suburbs and the Illinois Medical District and the University of Illinois at Chicago will be extended to Union Station in the Loop.
  • Route 855 that runs from the Southwest Suburbs to the Loop and North Michigan Avenue will add one more inbound trip in the morning and an additional outbound trip in the evening.
