Help with a kids' bike helmet giveaway in Des Plaines, May 14
For the fourth year in a row, the Des Plaines Healthy Community Partnership will be giving away kids' bike helmets at the Spring Fun Fair, which takes place on Saturday, May 14.
Des Plaines residents will not want to miss the Pooch, Pet & Pedal Parade at 11 a.m.
Active Trans staff and our friends from REI will be on hand at the event spreading the good word about bike safety and practical cycling. In addition, organizers are looking for a few volunteers to help with helmet fitting during the giveaway.
