Help build a velodrome!

Bike racers, ready: The temporary velodrome at the Chicago Velo Campus is being constructed this July. To get this ambitious project rolling at full speed, the Velo Campus is looking for volunteers.

/The new interim velodrome–located at 8615 S. Burley Ave., Chicago–will be 166 meters and will likely attract people from all over the region. The interim track will be used until the permanent velodrome is constructed in 2013.

The project is looking for volunteers–specifically, four individuals with general construction experience and eight general laborers. You probably don't need to be told that this is a fantastic opportunity to help make cycling history in Chicago and the United States!
