Des Plaines River Trail bike ride and ribbon cutting, June 4th

Come join Mayor Martin Moylan, the Des Plaines Police Department, Des Plaines community leaders and Active Trans supporters in the ribbon cutting and group bike ride of the Des Plaines River Trail.

 /The River Trail recently underwent three years of improvements in order to better accommodate trail users.

Registration for the group bike ride begins Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 8 a.m. The ribbon cutting is at 9 a.m., followed by the bike ride.

All riders must wear a bike helmet to participate.

The ride begins and finishes at the Des Plaines Public Work Facility, located at 1111 Joseph Schwab (Campground) Road, one block east of River Road off of Algonquin Road.
