Congratulations, Chicago Bike Messengers…party on Saturday!
We just heard the news that Chicago's bike messenger community won the bid to bring the Cycle Messenger World Championships to Chicago in 2012!
Active Trans supported the 2011 bid and looks forward to working with our local bike messengers on the 2012 race.
If you want to celebrate, don't miss Messenger Prom this Saturday at the Cobra Lounge (235 N. Ashland Ave.).
It looks to be an incredible party and the proceeds will fundraise for the 2012 worlds race and the Chicago Emergency Relief Fund for injured bike messengers.
