Bikes Belong kicks off Green Lane Project in Chicago

Last week, Chicago hosted the national kick-off of Bikes Belong’s Green Lane Project, which is supporting six U.S. cities as they build world-class bikeway networks over the next two years.

Top transportation officials from across the country, including Chicago DOT Commissioner Gabe Klein and Federal Highway Administrator Victor Mendez, introduced the new initiative at a press event on Kinzie Street. Check out some of the great news coverage of this exciting project:
