Active Trans helps out in Des Plaines
For the fourth year in a row, Des Plaines Healthy Community Partnership gave out free kids' bike helmets at the Spring Fun Fair on a cold wet May Saturday. As the helmets were handed out, volunteers from Active Trans helped properly fit the helmets for the kids. Pictured at left is Des Plaines Mayor Marty Moylan.
