Thanks Gov. Quinn for staying strong on speeding

Last week, Gov. Pat Quinn signed HB 1112 into law. This initiative of Active Transportation Alliance increases the fines for speeding in park, highway construction and very high speed situations (30+ mph over speed limit).

The extra funding will be given to the state's victim witness assistance centers to fund increased support for families of people who are killed in crashes while walking or biking.
